John Dillingham

Deacon

John was born in South Carolina and raised in a Roman Catholic home. Moves with the Navy brought him to the northside of metro Atlanta in 1983. Almost immediately, he and his family joined Cherokee Presbyterian Church. John believes the local church should be the believer’s community of first resort. John and BettyJo live north of Canton, near the Lipham’s and Hanenburg’s. John worked for many years, in auto parts and service, and concrete construction. He was able, providentially, to return to school at fifty and and now practices bedside as a Registered Nurse at Emory University Hospital. He serves as an Election worker for Cherokee County. He and BettyJo enjoy time spent with adult children (five daughters), 9 grandsons, 4 granddaughters and and 4 greatgrands (three girls, one boy).
